Recently, Makita Japan identified that the fuel tank of petrol brush cutter (Model: EM2600L) might have the leakage problem if the tool’s fuel tank was filled with gasoline for a long period of time. Petrol leakage can be solved by simply replacing the rubber grommet of the fuel tank.
As of 6th Oct 2017, similar case was not reported in Hong Kong. However, in order to safeguard the rights of customers, we will replace the relevant components free-of-charge for the affected products. This problem can be found on products marked with following serial number only.
